Digital Asset is continuing to build out a high functioning Developer Relations team and is looking for an experienced Technical Trainer to skill up a global developer community and help them achieve that “lightbulb” moment for architecting and creating game-changing innovation using the Daml platform.

Key Responsibilities
Reporting under the Product organization, the Technical Trainer role will –
design and implement a developer education program for the Daml platform;
engage both online and in-person with developers and software architects to provide Daml training and support that drives expertise and adoption;
become an expert in the use and application of the Daml platform;
design, develop and facilitate technical training for developers and/or clients; and
evaluate and provide feedback that improves and innovates our technical training content, lab exercises, reference applications, presentations, and accompanying materials.

Key Criteria
To successfully perform in this role, you should possess many of these qualifications.
5+ Years of experience in open source development concepts and solutions
Hold at least one advanced Certified Trainer Qualification, for example Microsoft Certified Trainer or AWS Authorized Instructor Program
Have previous hands-on experience in instructional design with instructional technology
Knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
Familiarity with course development software learning management systems
Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio/visual scripts, etc.
3+ years as a motivating communicator, able to help developers and/or software architects turn abstract concepts into reality
Proficient in English; both spoken and written
Familiarity with modern software development tools and technologies


The following criteria is a plus:
Hands-on functional programming or training skills like Scala or Haskell
An understanding of blockchains, distributed ledgers and/or decentralized systems
