Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a manager in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities
The Oracle Developer Relations Team (DevRel) is the source of trust for developers that look for best practices, documentation and training, as well as the main point of contact for internal engineering teams who needs to understand the feedback and experiences of the developer community.
The role will support the development of process improvement and standard operating procedures to achieve our effectiveness goals. This is a critical role in internal operations. The Head of DevRel OPs will develop and maintain internal systems, policies and procedures and must be a creative, efficient, strategic problem solver with good interpersonal and business skills.

Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and work closely with the team to ensure they are meeting performance expectations
Engage all levels of the organization to remove waste from operations processes
Coaches and develops the team to ensure they are delivering against key business metrics
Oversee programs flow and implement new processes as required in order to improve efficiency and support scalability
Works collaboratively to develop and/or improve systems, processes, controls and procedures that improve the overall efficiency of the team
Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the DevRel team
Manages the overall strategy, purpose, and vision of the entire Human Resources function: benefits, payroll, 401k, recruitment, learning and development, culture, performance management, and succession planning
Motivates and leads a high-performance management team

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in executive leadership positions
3+ years Scrum Master experience
Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
MBA preferred
