The DevRelX Community Guidelines and Code of Conduct

TL;DR

We want to ensure that all community members have an enjoyable knowledge sharing and networking experience.
Therefore, it is our commitment to create and maintain a safe and ethical environment within all community activities and platforms.
We ask all the participants and our community members to cooperate and act in accordance with the community guidelines. Misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in ban from all community platforms and events.
Please report any misconduct to the community admins via direct message or send your feedback to community@devrelx.com.

By joining the DevRelX community, I agree to:

Not be a stranger

We require community members to use their real identity, and encourage you to introduce yourself by providing additional information about who you are, such as a short casual business bio. This will help other members to get to know you better and enhance the community’s transparency.

Add value to community

The more you put into it, the more you get out of it. Share your ideas and take an active role in shaping the future of the DevRelX community.

We encourage you to contribute by starting and participating in peer discussions and community activities such as events, learning programs and more. As a community member you get an opportunity to interact, exchange experiences, ask questions and share useful resources on the dedicated discussion sections.

Such content, of course, should not be not solely self-promoting and should contain an objective value to other members. Community admins keep the right to remove the postings that violate community guidelines.

Respect all members

We are aiming at maintaining a professional community of members who have a shared belief in, at all times, respectful and ethical behaviour. Harassing or derogatory comments within any community platforms and events will not be tolerated.
That includes, but isn’t limited to: personal or public threats or attacks based on disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, or sexual orientation; abusive behaviour; references to violence or sexual content; harassing photography or recording; publishing other’s private information, such as physical or electronic addresses, without explicit permission.

Diversity is what makes us all shine our brightest.

All are welcome, none left out.

Remain considerate and take action

SlashData and our community values diversity of people and ideas and encourages new perspectives. We believe that a spectrum of perspectives plays a crucial role in personal and collective development, and we expect that you do, too.
Your expertise, knowledge, and observations are the kinds of contributions we are looking for. Reasoned arguments, resources and professional insights might benefit other members and community discussions. The ask is to respectfully respond to ideas, not individuals.
Any inappropriate comments will be removed. The organiser reserves the right to remove those who don’t comply with the above guidelines.
Please support us by reporting any experienced or observed violation of the above community guidelines to the community admins and event organising team members directly or sending feedback to
community@devrelx.com.

We value your participation and contribution to the DevRelX community.
