Director of Developer Relations at HubSpot
In this role, you’ll cultivate a network packed with industry leaders, technologists, partners, and strategic customers. You'll build relationships, exchange ideas, and raise awareness for HubSpot (our platform and our products). Reporting to the VP of Product / GM of Ecosystem, you’ll lead a strong team and work cross-functionally with Engineering, Business Development, and Marketing to drive adoption of our developer tools and encourage new and creative integrations.
You will be an ecosystem evangelist both inside and outside of HubSpot. This is an opportunity to have a huge impact, including sharing the HubSpot story far and wide, meeting with customers and partners, engaging deeply with the developer community, and working closely with HubSpot executive leadership to drive our platform and ecosystem strategy.
What you’ll be working on:
Driving key performance metrics for developer engagement with our tools and programs, and for the quality of our ecosystem partner offerings
Setting top-level team priorities in support of those metrics, and working with DevRel leaders to develop team goals execution plans
Building strong bonds with the Engineering, Product, and Design teams to ensure that developer needs are properly prioritized at all stages of product development
Growth, development, and retention for the Developer Relations team
We are looking for people who have:
Multiple years of leading Developer Relations organizations
Great interpersonal skills and can achieve buy-in at exec levels and continue to evangelizing the Dev Relations team
A deep background in software development
An equally strong drive to listen to customers and translate their needs back to internal teams
Experience leading diverse and inclusive teams
A deep knowledge of developer tools and processes
A real passion for engaging with developer communities - sharing what you know in person, in blogs, in presentations
Comfortable working in a dynamic, constantly changing environment and can prioritize work appropriately
Enjoy people interaction and cross-collaboration with Engineering, Product, and Go-To-Market teams
This role may involve a good bit of travel (as global circumstances allow), and is ideally based in either Cambridge, MA or Remote.
